FAQs

A brand is featured (or placed) in a media setting where the brand can be marketed in a natural way. Where the product is either in situ, or being used as it would in life.

Prop placement is when the brand gives free products to be used on screen, but a formal, legal agreement hasn’t been agreed.
Product placement is where a legal contract has been drawn up to hold the production to specific use on screen (usually at a premium, with an agreed hero action taking place).
Brand placement is just an extension of product placement - but you might feel it is important to hold the production to agree not to use any other brands, making sure that your brand is truly prominent throughout the film. This would be a contractual agreement at a higher premium.
